I remember Kyle once saying something like "They run big in the royal family" but I didn't know what he was talking about and I didn't want to think about it too much because it was Kyle.

I know what taxes are, but I don't quite understand the point behind them here, and why this little packet of papers needs to go with. I wonder what we're being protected from, if we have to pay taxes.

Um, did anyone in Palamedes lose a bottle of ...tanning lotion? I found it outside my door.

It's very cold here, and even though I was wearing gloves, my hands were like ice all day. I've heard winter in the Northern Continent is like this. I like the way the snow looks, and all the trees are decorated prettily, even though I'm not quite sure what for.

The problem is though, it's also very cold in these rooms. I've wrapped myself in all the blankets I could find, and the man downstairs told me to "open your vents", but I have no idea what those are.

A ball? Well...the last one I attended didn't work out so well, but maybe this one will.

So what is a television? No one ever told me the answer. Is it where you get to see where you want to go before you teleport? Viki was very helpful, but occasionally ending up in a thicket somewhere wasn't much fun.

Come to think of it, what is this? And where is this? I haven't seen this much armor since I last saw the Maximillian Knights, but when I asked the knights here, they told me they didn't know who they were, let alone Isabel or Mathias.

According to this slip of paper, I'm going to be a ticket collector. That's about as peaceful as you can get I suppose, but...I would really like to go home. I'm not supposed to be here, I think.
